With six hours remaining in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, title contenders Wayne Taylor Racing have seen their championship hopes smashed after a collsion with Oliver Jarvis.

Scott Dixon was driving the #10 Cadillac DPi-VR at the sharp end of the field when he was tagged into a spin by the #77 Mazda RT24-P of Oliver Jarvis, damaging the radiator and putting the car behind the wall for repairs.

After Acura Team Penske hit trouble earlier, and with this issue for Wayne Taylor Racing, it now puts Whelen Engineering in prime position for winning the DPi championship.

Matheus Leist currently leads the class in the #85 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac DPi-VR, with the #6 Acura ARX-05 of Juan Pablo Montoya second and Sebastien Bourdais third in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR.
