The Mercedes Formula 1 team unveiled on Sunday the livery its F1 Academy representative Doriane Pin will run in the all-female single-seater series.

The colour scheme reflects that seen on the W15 F1 challenger – a predominantly black design with flashes of green striping and a silver nose.

Pin’s F1 Academy livery also features a pattern of silver arrows over the engine cover on her #28 machine.

“My F1 Academy car is honestly amazing,” said Pin. “I’m so excited to be racing it and to be representing Mercedes. I think it will be an incredible feeling to jump in the car for the first race in Jeddah.

“The season ahead is a great opportunity to develop my career and skills in single seaters. I can’t wait to go racing, discover new tracks and work hard with my team to achieve our goals together.”

You've seen the test livery… now here's the real thing 😍 Inspired by the W15, here are our @f1academy colours that Doriane will be racing in 2024!

Pin is widely known for her exploits on the sportscar scene as part of the Iron Dames initiative and campaigned with PREMA in the LMP2 category of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2023, achieving a best result of second in class and winning the WEC’s Revelation of the Year award.

Last month, Pin’s F1 Academy plans were set in stone as she sets out to make a name for herself in single-seaters.

A maiden campaign in the series will be contrasted for the PREMA team and the 20-year-old French racer was also inducted into the Mercedes Junior Programme.

Pin’s preparations for F1 Academy have seen her compete in the F4 UAE series, in which she claimed her first pole position and race victory last weekend.

Alongside her single-seater competition this year, Pin will also compete in FIA WEC with the Iron Dames, driving a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 in the LMGT3 class alongside teammates Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting.

The F1 Academy series begins in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 07-09.
