George Russell stormed to victory as Formula 1 hit the streets of Baku for the highly competitive Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
The Mercedes driver overcame a dramatic race to secure a crucial win for his championship hopes. Russell and second-place Max Verstappen traded blows until the chequered flag, with the Briton winning by a tenth of a second. The pair were trailed by Isack Hadjar scoring a podium on his return from injury
Further back in the field, Championship leader Kimi Antonelli finished fifth, marking a brilliant recovery drive from 16th.
