Ferrari has teased a special tribute livery for the upcoming Italian Grand Prix, celebrating Michael Schumacher’s historic decade with the Maranello-based squad.
The SF-26 machinery driven by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will feature a bespoke design at Monza to mark 30 years since Schumacher’s first victory for Ferrari in 1996 and 20 years since his final win with the team in 2006.
Over that ten-year span from 1996 to 2006, the German legend claimed five Drivers’ World Championships and 71 Grand Prix victories, securing the most successful era in the Scuderia’s history.
Alongside the visual redesign, Ferrari plans to introduce a series of off-track initiatives across the Monza weekend to honour Schumacher’s lasting legacy, with full details expected closer to the event.
On the track, the Italian Grand Prix also marks the debut of an upgraded power unit package for Ferrari.
The Scuderia aims to bridge the performance gap to engine pace-setters Mercedes as the championship battle intensifies.
Hamilton currently sits third in the Drivers’ standings, level on points with George Russell, as both drivers trail championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli heading into the ‘Temple of Speed’.
