Cadillac has revealed its drivers will soon be able to use the highly-rated Dynisma simulators amid a targeted expansion of its Formula 1 project.
F1 welcomed the General-Motors-backed project as the sport’s 11th team, this season.
The all-new technical regulations have attracted big name manufacturers like Cadillac and Audi into the fray.
And while the former had opted to takeover the long-standing Sauber team, the latter has decided to embark on the ambitious task of establishing its F1 project from scratch.
Naturally, progress has been slow as the team recruits all the required infrastructure. But the outfit has been working hard behind the scenes.
The team has now revealed that it has chosen Dynisma to supply it its F1 simulators – more particularly the DMG-360XY variant – back at its Indiana headquarters in the US.
The UK-based company has previously partnered up with the likes of Ferrari and McLaren boasting the latest LED wall visualisation technology, and unlimited yaw travel.
This will aid Cadillac in developing its package, get its drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez up to pace with its latest offerings and also help in race weekend preparation.

Cadillac ready to expand its F1 project and technical capabilities
Cadillac isn’t interested in just showing up, they want to be competitive at the pinnacle of motorsport. This latest partnership is billed as a “continued investment in the innovative technology and infrastructure required to be competitive in top-flight motorsport.”
The team’s Chief Technical Officer, Nick Chester explained, “Selecting the right simulator platform is a key decision for any Formula 1 team.”
“Dynisma’s technology gives us the level of fidelity, responsiveness and correlation we were looking for as we continue to build our technical capability.
“The addition of the DMG-360XY is an important step as we establish the tools and systems needed to support our engineering work and driver programme over the coming seasons.”
Dynisma has a stronghold in other racing categories as well, such as F2, WEC, IMSA and Formula E.
Founder, Ash Warne, therefore, added on the prestige of being chosen to be a part of an ambitious project such as Cadillac’s.
“Dynisma is proud to support the Cadillac Formula 1 Team as they continue to build their technical capability in Formula 1,” he said.
“In modern motorsport, simulation plays a central role in connecting driver feedback with engineering development, and ensuring strong correlation between virtual tools, wind tunnel and track testing.
“The DMG-360XY is engineered to deliver a highly repeatable, high-fidelity environment, supporting informed decision-making across both long-term car development and race-by-race setup preparation.”
Cadillac has the crown-jewel of F1 to tackle next as the sport moves onto the streets of the Principality for the Monaco GP, this weekend.
