Ferrari has tested its unique and intriguing ‘Macarena’ wing during a Formula 1 filming day test session at Monza, with confirmation coming in the form of online footage.
The Scuderia first released the rotating wing during the second week of pre-season testing in Bahrain, with a further implementation of it coming during free practice for the Chinese Grand Prix.
But the wing was shelved before qualifying for the race, in which Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc finished third and fourth.
The wing, which is to enable further downforce through wider airflow, was thought to be set for another outing in the Monza test, as reported by Motorsport Week earlier this month.
And with footage appearing on social media, it appears that the SF-26 boasted the ingenious trick once again.

It is also thought that the winglets at the base of the Halo, which appeared during the China weekend up until Grand Prix Qualifying, has also been tested once more.
The Maranello-based squad has also recently revealed that it has been altering its development schedules due to F1’s enforced five-week hiatus, but stressed the break has done little to change its strategy on when upgrades will be launched.
