The curtain has come down on the first practice day of the 2024 Formula 1 season, set amid the stunning nighttime backdrop of the Bahrain International Circuit.

As night fell in second practice on Thursday and the floodlights sparked into life, the F1 grid dazzled spectators trackside and at home alike.
