Max Verstappen ended the final practice session from the Circuit of the Americas as the fastest driver, ahead of qualifying.
The two-time F1 champion ended up three-tenths of a second ahead of Charles Leclerc, after the duo were separated by fine margins during the session.
There was very little track time for Zhou Guanyu, as a power unit issue kept him in the garage for much of the session.
Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez were third and fourth respectively.
