Rebellion Racing continues to lead in dominant fashion at the Lone Star Le Mans, with Norman Nato currently behind the wheel of the #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson.

The only non-hybrid runner in the field has led the race since the start after Bruno Senna had started from pole position. Menezes handed the car over to Nato at the halfway point, which momentarily puts the #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Brendon Hartley in the lead, but Nato will cycle back into the lead when the Kiwi pits. Mike Conway still holds third in the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid.

Filipe Albuquerque currently leads the proceedings in LMP2 in the #22 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson, but the Anglo-American crew is on a different pit stop cycle after Paul di Resta had to cut his opening stint short due to rear grip issues.

Nyck de Vries holds second place in the #29 Racing Team Nederland ORECA 07-Gibson after a strong stint, recovering after team-mate Frits van Eerd was tagged into a spin by Roberto Gonzalez in the #38 JOTA ORECA. Gabriel Aubry currently holds third in the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA 07-Gibson.
