Aston Martin Racing has finalised its driver lineups for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with Brazilian GT racer Daniel Serra (pictured) and team regular Richie Stanaway confirmed for the French enduro.
Stanaway is placed with defending GTE-Pro champions Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen, whilst team newcomer Serra joins Darren Turner and Jonny Adam behind the wheel of the sister V8 Vantage.
The Le Mans lineups will also contest the opening two rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship at Silverstone and Spa.
“I’m hugely excited to have both Daniel and Richie on-board with the team this season," said AMR Team Principal Paul Howarth.
"Both bring with them the speed and consistency that we look for in any driver here at Aston Martin Racing."
"While Richie has raced with us for many seasons, Daniel is also well known within our operation. We are a team with big ambitions following our championship successes last year and while the competition will undoubtedly be tough, it is our objective to be on the top step of the podium at Le Mans in June”.
Stanaway's tenure with Aston Martin includes apperances in the FIA WEC, IMSA Sportscar Championship and European Le Mans Series.
In 2016 he partnered Turner for seven out of nine races, with the pair going on to win the 6 Hours of Mexico.
"It’s great to be back at WEC this weekend and to be back with the team for this season," commented Stanaway, who is also a former winner in GP2.
"Obviously it’s going to be a little different driving with the Danes this year, but having worked with these guys over the past few years, we already understand each other really well."
"Both Marco and Nicki are ultra-quick and I’m hoping we can be challenging for victories straight away at Silverstone, Spa and then for the big one at Le Mans”.

Serra, meanwhile, is new to the Aston Martin organisation having represented Ferrari on the North American GT scene since 2014.
The 33-year-old from São Paulo drove a part-season with IMSA GT Daytona championship-winning outfit Scuderia Corsa last season, which included a fourth-place finish at the Daytona 24 Hours.
Serra joined Aston Martin recently at Aragon for the testing of Dunlop tyre compounds, in preparation for his Le Mans debut with the manufacturer.
"What an amazing opportunity it is to be joining Aston Martin Racing in 2017," said Serra, whose father Chico drove in Formula One with Arrows.
"Having worked with the team last year in testing, it’s great to now step up and have the chance to help fight for strong results, in what is going to be a really competitive field in this year’s WEC."
"I’d like to thank the team for this opportunity and I cannot wait to start working with Darren and Jonny. Both are real professionals on and off the track and I hope we can bring the fight to our rivals this season”.
Aston Martin has also confirmed that its cars will return to the distinctive Stirling Green and Lime livery that featured in the FIA WEC last year.
The paint scheme recognises the colours of Aston Martin's recently formed performance brand AMR, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last month.
