Rebellion takes second straight pole position in Bahrain

Rebellion Racing have taken their second straight pole position in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Bruno Senna and Norman Nato put together a combined average of 01:42:979 to claim the top spot for tomorrow's 8 Hours of Bahrain.

The #1 R13-Gibson never really seemd under threat, although Charlie Robertson and Ben Hanley came close in the #5 Ginetta G60-LT-P1 - AER. Their average of 01:43:123 was 0.144s removed from the pole time. 

Toyota lock out the second row, with the #8 TS050 Hybrid of Brendon Hartley and Kazuki Nakajima just over half a second off the pole time with 01:43:497. The #7 Toyota of Mike Conway and Jose Maria Lopez came fourth, ahead of the #6 Team LNT Ginetta of Mike Simpson and Guy Smith.

United Autosports captured pole position in LMP2, with Paul di Resta and Philip Hanson putting together a 01:45:357 to put the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson on top.

Will Stevens and Gabriel Aubry had to settle for second in the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA, while ELMS regulars G-Drive Racing took third in the #26 Aurus 01, courtesy of Job van Uitert and double Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne.

Fourth went to Shanghai winners Roberto Gonzalez and Anthony Davidson in the #38 JOTA entry, while the top five was rounded out by Cool Racing.
