Williams has confirmed a multi-year extension to its title partnership with ROKiT, giving the parties an option to remain affiliated through 2023.

Williams’ five-year deal with Martini came to a close at the end of 2018 and it signed ROKiT in its place.

On Thursday, ahead of the team’s home race at Silverstone, it announced an extension to the deal, for a duration of "three to five years."

“We are delighted to announce this extension to our partnership with ROKiT,” said deputy team boss Claire Williams.

"As I said in February, this is a natural partnership based on shared values of innovation, engineering excellence and trust.

"ROKiT joined the team at a challenging time and it means a great deal to us that they believe in our vision and are committed to helping us achieve it.

"I’ve personally enjoyed working with the team at ROKiT and look forward to continuing this work in the years ahead.”

Williams has endured a difficult season on-track, with its FW42s off the pace at the rear of the field, prohibiting the team from challenging for the top 10.

It holds last spot in the Constructors’ Championship with zero points, 16 fewer than ninth-placed Haas.
