Juncos Racing confirm Kyle Kaiser to race IndyCar Classic at CoTA

Juncos Racing has confirmed Kyle Kaiser will return to race for them at the IndyCar Classic at the Circuit of the Americas.

The 2017 Indy Lights champion will race for the American/Argentine outfit at the second round of the NTT IndyCar season; he will drive the #32 entry.

His appearance at the Texas road course will see the 22-year-old continue a six-year association with the team which goes back to his efforts in the Road to Indy Pro Mazda category in 2014.

Kaiser competed in four IndyCar races for Juncos in 2018 at Phoenix, Long Beach, Indy GP and the Indianapolis 500, the team are yet to confirm if the Californian driver will take part in any further races in 2019.

NFP Insurance will also be expanding their presence on the Juncos car after first joining the team at the Indy 500 in 2018, where Kaiser qualified an impressive 17th place for the race, however, he suffered a mechanical problem on lap 110 and subsequently retired.

"I am excited to be back in an IndyCar for the 2019 season with Juncos Racing at COTA," said Kaiser.

"I’m thrilled to have NFP partner with us for this incredible race. I was privileged to get to represent NFP in the Indy 500 last year and had the chance to get to know many of the world-class people working there.

"Their ambition in the business world is a perfect fit for Juncos’ ambition and drive in racing. I’m looking forward to providing NFP and their guests with an invaluable experience at one of the most prestigious racetracks in North America."

Kaiser recently tested with the team at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca ahead of the 'Spring Training' test days at the Circuit of the Americas on February 12-13.
