Lotus to replace reserve Valsecchi with Sorensen
Lotus will reportedly replace its current reserve driver, Davide Valsecchi, for the 2014 season.
The 2012 GP2 series champion was promoted to reserve for the 2013 season but was later snubbed as Kimi Raikkonen's replacement for two races, with Lotus instead opting for Heikki Kovalainen.
His and the team's relationship went downhill after that, after he criticised their decision. Though he later backtracked on the comments.
Speaking in November about whether he'd remain, he said: "I don't know. My management are the bosses of Lotus so we will see what they decide."
It appears they have made a decision and it doesn't include Valsecchi.
Instead, reports suggest 23-year-old Marco Sorensen will take up the role. The Danish driver is also managed by Eric Boullier and last year finished seventh in the Renault 3.5 series.
