2022 F1 Abu Dhabi GP: start time, TV schedule and live streams

Formula 1’s 2022 season comes to a conclusion this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit, which hosts the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The track has hosted the final round of the F1 season every year since 2014.

One year ago, the race as subject to one of the biggest controversies in modern F1 history, as Max Verstappen beat Lewis Hamilton to the title on the final lap of the grand prix.

This year, the title race is all wrapped up, with the most intriguing fights being Charles Leclerc vs Sergio Perez for second in the Drivers’ Championship and Ferrari vs Mercedes in the Constructors’.

After several races subject to late starting times in the Americas, European fans will return to a more traditional schedule.

The Abu Dhabi event is mostly held under the lights, creating a speculator visual for those watching.

How to watch the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Coverage of all the action in the UK and Ireland will be shown live, with free-to-air highlights available later in the day.

Watch Live: Sky Sports F1 will broadcast every session live, as well as build-up and post-session shows to qualifying and the race.

Highlights: Channel 4 will provide highlight shows of the qualifying and race sessions, a number of hours after the live event has ended on Sky Sports.

Live Stream: Sky Sports subscribers will be able to catch all of the action through the Sky Go app, which requires an internet connection to access. Alternatively, they can access through NOW TV.

Friday: FP1 – 09:30 | FP2 – 12:45
Saturday: FP3 – 10:15 | Qualifying – 13:15
Sunday: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – 11:30

Channel 4

Sunday: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – 17:30

How to stream the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

A number of countries have access to F1 TV Pro, which broadcasts every session throughout a race weekend. It also has its own build-up and post-session shows. The list of countries in which F1 TV Pro is available can be found here.
