Sidepods have been the talk of the town this weekend after Mercedes unveiled a radical design – a departure from the norm – whilst on Saturday Red Bull introduced an update to their own.
Although we have new technical regulations, many expected the teams to converge on similar concepts given the tight boundaries imposed by the new rules, but that certainly hasn’t been the case with multiple different concepts appearing during pre-season testing.
