Team Project 1 has been forced to withdraw their second GTE Am entry from the upcoming Eight Hours of Portimao.

The German squad has seen their #46 Porsche 911 RSR-19 sidelined for the second round in a row as a result of the crash that Anders Buchardt suffered in the WEC Prologue pre-season test at Spa-Francorchamps.

The crash caused the team to miss the opening round at Spa, but it had entered the car for the second round at Portimao for Buchardt, Dennis Olsen and Axcil Jefferies. In the updated entry list for the eight-hour enduro, however, the #46 Porsche is no longer featured.

The number of cars in the GTE Am category remains the same as the Spa season opener, however, as the withdrawal from Team Project 1 is offset by a one-off entry for Kessel Racing.

The Swiss squad has made one change to the line-up for their #57 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo, as David Fulmanelli has been replaced by Scott Andrews. Andrews partners Takeshi Kimura and Mikkel Jensen.

The LMP2 category also sees a pair of driver changes. Mathias Beche has been brought in to replace Loic Duval aboard the #70 Realteam Racing ORECA 07-Gibson, as Duval will be racing with Mustang Sampling Racing at the Detroit Grand Prix.

ARC Bratislava, meanwhile, has secured the services of longtime LMP1 racer Oliver James Webb for its #44 Ligier JS P217-Gibson. Webb was forced to sit out the opening round at Spa due to clashing commitments elsewhere.
