Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri came together in the final lap of the Singapore GP Sprint Race, losing out on a double points finish for McLaren.
The stewards decided that no further action will be taken against Lando Norris after he collided with his teammate whilst attempting to overtake at the apex of Turn 5.
Norris went down the inside of Piastri, who explained that he had not expected Norris to attempt an overtake and didn’t see him. Norris thought the other McLaren would leave him space, but there was less space than anticipated and both cars were sent spinning.
After reviewing the incident, the stewards concluded that both drivers had contributed to the incident and neither was fully at fault, therefore taking no further action.
The Briton dropped down to eighth but managed to finish the race. He picked up a sole point for McLaren, with Piastri unable to make it to the chequered flag and recording a second DNF in his 2026 season.
