Ferrari has revealed special Michael Schumacher-themed race suits for this year’s Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, celebrating the German’s glittering career with the Scuderia.
2026 marks 30 years since Schumacher joined the Maranello-based squad, the start of 10 years with the team, half of which brought World Championship glory.
Schumacher’s five titles between 2000 and 2004 heralded the most successful period of Ferrari’s history in the sport, and has won only one Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship each since then.
1996 was a transitional year for Ferrari, with Schumacher readily accepting no hope of winning the championship, but still managed to take three Grand Prix success, the third coming at Monza.
Ferrari is expected to reveal an accompanying livery inspired by the F310 – the car from that debut campaign – ahead of the race next weekend.
The race suits feature the iconic Schumacher logo, depicting a race car interwoven with his initials, and on the back, seven stars – like those on top of Schumacher’s helmet design – to represent his seven World Championships.
