Ferrari is just one of four teams bringing any upgrades to the F1 Azerbaijan GP

Ferrari is one of only four teams that have arrived in Baku with upgrades ahead of Formula 1‘s Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

With a collective focus on 2026 across the grid, the list of upgrades brought is dwindling further as F1 reaches the business end of 2025.

The Scuderia has opted for an enlarged brake cooling duct, which, as per the FIA’s document, is to “cover off the high duty and requirements of the Baku City Circuit,” namely the hefty braking zones along it.

“A mild revision” of Red Bull’s inboard wing assembly has been implemented, to create “more local load whilst maintaining the flow stability”.

Mercedes is the last of the big four teams to bring any upgrade, in the shape of a reduced chord front wing flap to create a lower downforce as well as a good balance, on what is, in places, a fast circuit.

Racing Bulls is the fourth and final squad to bring changes, which come in both its front and rear brake ducts, changes to increase and encourage a better cooling flow along the tricky street circuit.
