Robert Kubica of the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 499P was the quickest driver following the first track action in the 24 Hours of Le Mans test day.

The first on-track action as part of the 93rd running of the event commenced as part of the fourth FIA World Endurance Championship round.

Two key interruptions took place within the first half of the three-hour session. Firstly, debris on the left-hand side at the first chicane initiated a temporary full-course yellow to remove it.

Then, an incident by #34 Inter Europol Competition Oreca 07 LMP2 driver Luca Ghiotto set the majority of the first half under safety car.

The latter half of the session ran far smoother, allowing teams to gain useful mileage at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Privateer Ferrari at the top
