F1 TV has announced a new tier of its subscription package, in the form of a premium subscription which it describes as a “premier service” prior to the new Formula 1 season.

In addition to its Pro and Access packages, Premium has been added as an option which, upon purchase, can be accessed on Google’s Chrome web browser, Apple iOS, Apple TV and Roku.

Boasting the chance to watch every single session of every F1, F2, F3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup race, subscribers can also access the service on six different devices simultaneously, enhancing the viewing experience for those at home.

The options include a varying array of the official broadcast feed, onboard cameras and the live timing screen, which will enable fans to experience a Grand Prix similar to that of those on the pit wall which for betting fans will give them an amazing insight before they place their bets. And for fans living in the UK, there are UK bookies that have bet £10 get £30 free bet offers which is a great offer for the start of the new season.

In a statement, F1’s Chief Media Rights and Broadcasting Officer, Ian Holmes, said: “Since its launch, F1 TV has evolved to become one of the most sophisticated streaming
platforms in sports.

“F1 TV Premium further elevates the viewing experience by allowing fans to create a personalised platform that enables them to become fully immersed in every incident,
wheel to wheel battle and victory across all 24 races.

“This new service signifies our continued commitment to improve our content offering for our fans and creating an experience which is worthy of their passion.”

Laura Winter, co-host of the F1 75 launch event, will take-up the main hosting duties this year upon the departure of Will Buxton to Fox Sport’s IndyCar coverage.

She will be joined by former Indy racer James Hinchcliffe and reporter Lawrence Barretto, with Alex Jacques and Jolyon Palmer on commentary.

Former Sauber strategist Ruth Buscombe-Divey, Alex Brundle, Davide Valsecchi and Sam Collins will make up the remainder of the regular team.

Does F1 think its fans are stupid ? Out of the goodness of its little heart, it’s merely giving us back exactly what we had before – before (in France at least) it sold its soul to Canal+. I notice there’s no mention of price. Unless it’s extremely competitive with what we had before, I will make a point of resisting temptation.
