Once the session resumed, Alex Albon wound up an encouraging third for Williams, ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes.
Neither Ferrari driver featured in the top 10, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz classified 11th and 16th respectively.
