Lewis Hamilton took his maiden Ferrari for Sunday’s Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix, after an intriguing battle at the front of the field.
Ferrari’s status as favourites for victory on Sunday took another step in qualifying after Hamilton took pole position by just 0.009s, becoming the oldest polesitter since Mario Andretti in 1982.
George Russell lines up second on the grid, with the second Ferrari of Charles Leclerc in third.
