Liam Lawson will take part in Racing Bulls’ Garage Sessions for the United States Grand Prix and headline the event.
Lawson’s love of country music has been well known throughout his Formula 1 career, with Racing Bulls frequently sharing clips from the Kiwi’s youth on their social media. During summer breaks, Lawson has often posted photos of himself with his guitar or clips on social media.
However, Lawson’s musical abilities have largely been separate from his driving. With just a handful of rounds left in the 2026 season, Lawson’s future with the team has still not been confirmed. Rumours of Red Bull Junior Nikola Tsolov making the jump to F1 are still prevalent.
The Kiwi will put aside driving for the evening on Thursday, taking the stage in Racing Bull’s Garage Sessions.

Partnership with Taylor Guitars
At Inn Cahoots in Austin, Lawson is also launching a partnership with Taylor Guitars and will perform with a custom LL30 GS Mini Special Edition Taylor guitar. The pink-and-white instrument features his race number and a cartoon that also appears on his race helmet.
“I feel very proud to be launching my partnership with Taylor Guitars at Garage Sessions,” said Lawson, speaking about the event and the partnership.
“Playing the guitar has been a big part of my life since I was young, as my Dad played in a band throughout my childhood.
“He encouraged my brother and me to play since we were six years old, so it feels like a full-circle moment to be launching a custom LL30 GS Mini SE while performing with my brother and two friends who I grew up playing with.
“Music is a big part of my life, and I use it to clear my head during the season, so I’m really excited to perform at Garage Sessions where we can connect with fans outside of the track. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone there.”
Lawson won’t be the only act in the sessions; Drake Milligan, Jonathon Capeci, Scoot Teasley, and Jess Farren will be there as well. Milligan headlined the F1 Grid Gig in Austin last year.
