Audi has unveiled a special livery that will adorn its cars for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix this weekend.
The German marque continues to impress in its debut season, with a Bahrain GP in Malaysia weekend that almost scored points amid its place on the fringes of the midfield.
Last week, the ‘four rings’ released plans to build a brand-new facility in its existing location of Hinwil, having taken over the base from its previous guise as Sauber.
And now, its unique titanium-coloured machines will be given a touch of added colour.
Dubbed ‘The Art of Influence’, the livery features Peranakan Pattern, synonymous with South-East Asia, and with that, a new, distinctive shade of the Titanium Silver Grey, interwoven with blue shimmer, which will change appearance as the car navigates the Marina Bay Circuit during nighttime.
Stefano Battiston, Audi’s Chief Brand and Commercial officer, said: “Bringing Formula 1 to the people means giving fans more ways to feel part of the team, wherever they are. Singapore shows how we can do that through one connected idea.
“Audi’s special livery expresses our brand through a design shaped by the city, and fans around the world can discover it for themselves through the online reveal. With the adidas collection and experiences across Singapore, that story continues beyond the race car.
“‘The Art of Influence’ invites people to engage with the team in ways that are meaningful to them, whether they are here in the city or following from home.”
