Red Bull Racing has confirmed it will continue with its current driver line-up heading into the 2027 Formula 1 season.
Ahead of his return to racing following a wrist injury, Isack Hadjar was announced to remain at the Milton Keynes outfit for at least another season. Continuing his current partnership with four-time World Champion Max Verstappen into 2027.
The announcement marks a crucial vote of confidence in Hadjar, who made the step up from Racing Bulls last season.
In his debut year at the top team, he is 74 points behind Verstappen, despite missing three races to injury.
With consistent points finishes and a highly contested Monaco Grand Prix podium, Hadjar has seemingly broken the long-standing second-seat curse at Red Bull.
Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies has continually sung Hadjar’s praises across the season, thus, making the extension a ‘no-brainer’ for the team.
“We’re very excited to continue our journey with Isack,” Mekies explained.
“Since joining us at the start of the year, he has been superb on and off track, especially considering this is only his second Formula 1 season, which made extending his contract an easy decision.”

Reflecting on the announcement, Hadjar said he was excited to keep working with the team. The 21-year-old is eager to continue his strong partnership at Red Bull in a new F1 season.
“I am really excited to continue with Oracle Red Bull Racing,” Hadjar emphasised.
“From the moment I signed, I set out to dedicate myself to the Team, and with the support of Laurent and everyone in Milton Keynes… I’m constantly looking to listen, learn and push myself further every single day, which only makes me more excited about what lies ahead.”
