Ritomo Miyata overcame a chaotic Formula 2 Sprint Race to secure a sprint race victory at the Spanish Grand Prix.
The Japanese driver claimed the first F2 victory at the newly built Madring, etching his name into history forever. Rounding out the inaugural podium were Emerson Fittipaldi and Laurens Van Hoepen.
