Manuel Gonzalez rode to a third successive victory in the Moto2 class after a commanding display at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Gonzalez made a good start from the second row of the grid and immediately found himself in contention for the victory, looking untouchable after making his way to the front with 10 laps to spare.
Polesitter Izan Guevara got an initial good launch, but bogged down and allowed Filip Salac to take the lead at Turn 1.
Alonso Lopez made a good start from the third row of the grid and braked late in an attempt to fire into the lead, although the Spaniard ran wide and dropped back down to ninth.
Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez made the most of the chaos and moved up to third, which became second after overtaking Guevara on the opening lap.
The race settled into a bit of a lull after the opening three laps before Guevara, who was demoted to fourth after an aggressive move from Senna Agius, was awarded a penalty for an unsafe change in direction on the start.
After spending the first half of the race tracking Salac, Gonzalez made his move on Lap 12 to get past the Czech rider and into the lead of the race.
Although Salac attempted to stick with the championship leader, he could do nothing to challenge Gonzalez once he hit the front, with the gap ultimately extending to over a second.
Gonzalez eventually crossed the line to confirm his victory by 1.552s after leading from just past the halfway point.
Salac earned his first podium since the 2024 Japanese Grand Prix by virtue of his second place finish.
Agius struggled in the closing stages, but held off a late challenge from David Alonso to complete the podium in third.
Alonso finished in fourth ahead of team-mate Daniel Holgado, who rounded out the top five for Aspar.
Guevara completed the race in sixth after fading late on, while Celestino Vietti took seventh.
Lopez finished eighth, as Alberto Ferrandez posted his best-ever Moto2 ride to take ninth and Tony Arbolino completed the top 10.
Moto3 Champion Jose Antonio Rueda finished 11th after overcoming Barry Baltus in the last few laps, with Zonta van den Goorbergh in 13th.
Taiyo Furusato took 14th at the flag, whilst Joe Roberts rounded out the points finishers in 15th.
