Williams is giving fans the chance to choose the livery that will adorn its 2026 Formula 1 challenger – the FW48 – in pre-season testing.
The Grove-based squad is certainly raising expectations for its fans ahead of the brand-new season, after showing considerable improvement with a fifth-place finish in the 2025 Constructors’ Championship.
With Alex Albon joined by Carlos Sainz, the team had a mini renaissance, with the Spaniard taking two podiums to help the team secure the bragging rights of the midfield.
2026 sees F1 enter a new era with a new set of radical technical regulations that will ensure unpredictability across the grid.
But the team, backed by its strong driver line-up and a continuation of its powertrain partnership with Mercedes – currently reputed to be one of the strongest for next year – looks in good shape to continue its upward trajectory.
The FW48 will be rolled out for the first time at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in January, and the team has produced six special livery designs that fans can choose from on its offical website.
Dubbed ‘Your Livery’, Williams will announce the winner later in the month, saying that the winning choice will “forever be a piece of Williams history.”
After Barcelona, teams will travel to Bahrain for two sets of testing schedules, the first commencing on February 11th, and the second from the 18th to the 20th.
Round 1 of the new season and new era will be on March 8, at Albert Park, Melbourne, where Williams will be hoping to continue on its newfound form to challenge further.
