Max Verstappen secures pole position for the 2025 Formula British Grand Prix ahead of McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.
The Dutchman delivered a stunning lap right at the death to take pole away from the Woking-based squad.
Completing the top three was Lando Norris with a 2-3 qualifying result for McLaren.
George Russell qualified fourth for Mercedes, the Ferrari pair of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc making up the third row.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli ended the session in seventh but will serve a three-place grid penalty.

The same applies to Haas’ Oliver Bearman, though his punishment is more severe, with a 10-place grid drop for his offence.
Fernando Alonso qualified ninth for Aston Martin and the Alpine of Pierre Gasly rounded out the top 10.
