Alex Albon has been stripped of his fourth-place finish in the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Sprint after receiving a post-race time penalty.

Oliver Bearman and Liam Lawson were also handed time penalties just before the qualifying session.

The Williams driver failed to stay above the minimum time set by the ECU under the Safety Car, resulting in a five-second time penalty, bumping him out of the points and into 11th.

The New Zealand racing driver has been penalised for his collision with Fernando Alonso, which resulted in the late-race Safety Car being deployed to remove the damaged Aston Martin car.

Lawson also receives a five-second time penalty, losing out on two points for Racing Bulls and back down the order into 13th place.

Finally, Bearman has also been handed the same penalty, but for an unsafe release by the Haas team, which sees him drop down the order to 14th.

Benefiting from the post-race penalties were Lance Stroll for Aston Martin, who picked up more points in fifth behind George Russell in fourth for Mercedes.

Yuki Tsunoda recovers from a pitlane start to claim sixth and two points for Red Bull.
