Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc posted the quickest lap to top the timesheets in the sole practice session at this weekend’s Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix.
Leclerc headed the two McLaren drivers – Oscar Piastri faster than team-mate Lando Norris – while Carlos Sainz was fourth in the second Ferrari.
Yuki Tsunoda completed the top five in the RB, ahead of Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas in a surprise sixth and Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll up in seventh.
George Russell was the quicker of the Mercedes drivers and he was eighth as Alex Albon sandwiched the German marque’s two cars in his Williams.
