Cadillac’s Sebastien Bourdais went quickest in the first practice session for the IMSA Sportscar Championship season finale, Petit Le Mans, held at Road Atlanta.

The #01 Cadillac V-Series.R driver set a 1:11.013 around the undulating track, almost half a second than the sister Cadillac, run by Action Express, with Jack Aitken onboard the #31 Action Express car.

Mathieu Jaminet in the #6 Porsche 963 was next up, just over six tenths off Bourdais, while Philipp Eng was fourth in the #24 BMW M Hybrid V8. Fifth was Felipe Nasr in the sister #5 Porsche.

The session ran without red flags or any stoppages, with minor spins for Ben Keating and Dennis Andersen, at turn 7, very temporarily interrupting proceedings, before both got going again.
