Alpine’s Abbi Pulling took a double pole position in F1 Academy at Singapore in a dominant qualifying display.
Pulling’s fastest time of 2:03.631s ensured she’d snatch pole position for Race 1 on Saturday, Ferrari’s Maya Weug was 0.238s slower in second.
Friday’s nighttime qualifying session was the first of its kind for the F1 Academy field.
The 16 drivers had just one Free Practice session to get acquainted with the Singapore circuit.
Pulling was the pacesetter in practice and looked to maintain that advantage in qualifying.
Mercedes Doriane Pin was the third fastest in Singapore, 0.265s back from Pulling’s chart-topping time.
A last-gasp effort from Williams’ Lia Block saw the American take fourth with Red Bull’s Hamda Al Qubaisi rounding out the top-five.
Haas’ Chloe Chambers was sixth fastest, ahead of Tommy Hilfiger driver Nerea Marti and impressive wild card driver Ella Lloyd.
McLaren’s Bianca Bustamante and Sauber’s Carrie Schreiner completed the top-10.

The front row will have a slightly different look compared to Race 1 with Pin 0.158s back from Pulling with her second-best laptime.
Weug wasn’t too far off her top pace with her second-best effort and the Dutch driver will line up third for Race 2.
Block will line up fourth for both races with Marti improving to fifth on the grid for Race 2.
H. Al Qubaisi will start one position lower for Race 2 in sixth with Schreiner improving to seventh.
