2024 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix – Race Results

Ferrari beat McLaren to victory at Monza

Charles Leclerc delighted the home Italian Grand Prix crowd by taking his second Formula 1 victory at Monza.

A one-stop strategy enabled him to hold on ahead of the two-stopping McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, who completed the podium.

One-stopping Carlos Sainz finished fourth in his final Italian GP with Ferrari with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton rounding out the top five.

George Russell was the Mercedes filling in a Red Bull sandwich, one place behind Max Verstappen (6th), and ahead of eighth-placed Sergio Perez.
