Alpine Junior Driver Abbi Pulling earned a double victory in Round 2 with her Race 2 win at the Miami International Autodrome.

The British driver created a gap of five seconds by the end of the race and now leads the Drivers’ Championship by 34 points, ahead of the Mercedes Junior Driver Doriane Pin.

Bianca Bustamante earned her first podium of 2024 after holding off the Iron Dame throughout the race, but it was Pulling who sealed the double in a dominant Miami weekend.

Pulling got off to a great start, defending her lead through the first turn as Bustamante fell under pressure from Pin.

A yellow flag was called on the opening lap in Sector 2 as Hausmann made contact with Lola Lovinfosse, retiring from both races this weekend in Miami.

Nerea Martí began to put pressure on Maya Weug going into Turn 1 on Lap 2, engaging in a three-way battle with the American driver Chloe Chambers.

Nobels dived down the inside of Weug on the long straight after Turn 16, as the Ferrari driver defended her position going into Turns 17 and 18.

Martí went wide at Turn 6 during her battle with the Charlotte Tilbury driver, falling less than a second away from Jessica Edgar in 10th.

Bustamante stayed within a second of the race leader in the first four laps but fell out of the DRS zone going into Lap 5.

The Red Bull Ford-nominated driver attempted to overtake the Wildcard Entrant at Turn 14 but went wide and gave the 14th place back.

Emely De Heus returned for more at Turn 15, overtaking Courtney Crone as she began to climb her way up the field.

Weug dived down the inside of Hamda Al Qubaisi going into Turn 1, defending her position through Turns 3 and 4 as she made up a place.

The front three drivers began to pull away from the rest of the pack by Lap 6, with third-placed Pin sitting five seconds ahead of the Haas-nominated driver Chambers.

A lockup from the Tommy Hilfiger driver at Turn 12 left her vulnerable to Edgar behind in 10th as the British driver chased for a secure position in the points.

Lovinfosse dived down the inside of Nobels at Turn 6 as Nobels ran off the track to defend her position, but the two drivers later made contact going into Turn 17.

Both drivers fell to the back of the grid and returned to racing, but Lovinfosse received a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision on Lap 1 with Hausmann.

The Turn 17 incident was noted by the race stewards on Lap 9, adding another 10-second penalty for the Charlotte Tilbury driver.

Pin tailed closely behind the McLaren Development Driver in striking distance, while the young rally driver Lia Block battled with Edgar.

Edgar briefly went off track at Turn 11 before finally overtaking Martí on Turn 13 as the two drivers went side-by-side for three corners.

Returning the place to Martí , Edgar then swiftly overtook the Tommy Hilfiger driver until she spun coming out of Turn 6.

Pin fell within a second of Bustamante but failed to take her on the last turn, losing the gap going into the final straight.

The McLaren-nominated driver made a brilliant recovery to P2 after a disastrous Race 1, earning her maiden podium in 2024 while Pin finished in third.

Chambers maintained her fourth position, followed by Emirati racer Hamda Al Qubaisi in fifth with Martí shortly behind in sixth.

Amna Al Qubaisi finished in eight as Carrie Shreiner managed a position in the points in ninth, while De Heus rounded off the top 10.

Block missed out on a points finish by just four-tenths while the Wildcard Entrant improved on her Race 1 position with a 12th place finish.

Due to penalties, Lovinfosse finished 46 seconds behind the race leader in 15th in front of sponsor Charlotte Tilbury waving the chequered flag.
