Max Verstappen signed off on a successful Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix weekend, taking a comfortable GP victory ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris.
The Dutchman’s advantage over Norris was a healthy 13.773s, with Sergio Perez 5.387s further back in third.
The two Ferraris failed to stake a claim for the podium places, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
Mercedes’ George Russell held onto sixth place whilst a late-charging Fernand Alonso finished seventh in his Aston Martin.
Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the top-10 for McLaren, Mercedes and Haas respectively.
Valtteri Bottas retired with engine failure and both the RBs of Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo failed to finish after sustaining damage.
