Red Bull’s Max Verstappen swept through the field from P9 and went wheel to wheel with teammate Sergio Perez in a dominant performance to finish the Miami Grand Prix on the top step of the podium.
Perez made it a Red Bull 1-2 while the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso was able to claim the final podium position by holding off Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and then the Mercedes of George Russell with ease.
Sainz received a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane while he made a stop for the hard compound tyre.
