Antonio Felix da Costa topped second practice for the Monaco E-Prix, with the DS Techeetah driver over two tenths ahead of Jaguar’s Mitch Evans.

With Evans second, Robin Frijns, behind the wheel of one of the Envision cars, was in third, a few hundredths off Evans. Da Costa’s teammate, Jean-Eric Vergne, was in fourth, but couldn’t match his Portguese rival’s pace, 0.360 off.

Maximilian Gunther was fifth for Nissan, with the team hoping he can keep that pace up going in qualifying. First practice pacesetter Nyck de Vries was sixth for Mercedes, followed by the Porsche duo of Pascal Wehrlein and Andre Lotterer.

Venturi’s Edo Mortara and Andretti’s Jake Dennis rounded out the top 10.

Stoffel Vandoorne, in the sister Mercedes, finished the session 11th, with Lucas di Grassi in 12th for Venturi. Sam Bird could only manage 13th for Jaguar — he’ll be hoping for better in qualifying.

Nick Cassidy was 14th for Envision, with Sebastien Buemi 15th, ten places lower than his teammate. Dan Ticktum was 16th, with Nio 333 teammate Oliver Turvey just behind in 17th.

Alexander Sims and Oliver Rowland were 19th for Mahindra, with Sergio Setta Camara 20th for Dragon. Oliver Askew finished the second and last practice session 21st, while Antonio Giovinazzi, who has extensive, recent experience of the famed street track from his time in Formula 1, 22nd and last for Dragon, almost four tenths off Askew.

Qualifying begins at 9:45am UK time.
