Charles Leclerc has been handed the 2019 SF90 Formula 1 car as a gift from Ferrari.
The car, which was Leclerc’s second in F1 and his first with the Italian squad, took the Monegasque driver to his first and second F1 victories in Belgium and Italy respectively two years ago.
Leclerc also bagged eight further podiums behind the wheel of the car, as well as seven pole positions. Former team-mate Sebastien Vettel took one win and eight further podiums with the car.
The 23-year-old teased the car under covers on social media on Friday, before revealing it to his followers.
Leclerc’s 2019 Italian Grand Prix victory remains his latest win in F1, as the Scuderia squad endured a difficult 2020 campaign that saw it slip into the midfield pack.
Following his successful maiden season with Ferrari in 2019, Leclerc signed a new long-term deal with the team, which ties him down through 2024.
Last year, Ferrari gifted the SF71H car from 2018 to former driver Kimi Raikkonen, who took his final race win for the team at the US Grand Prix three years ago.
