Michelin will become the exclusive tyre supplier for the the 2021 DTM season, supplying tyres for the series’ switch to GT3 regulations.
DTM previously used Hankook tyres, but will instead make the switch to the French manufacturer, which also supplies tyres to other major sportscar series including the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.

Michelin tyres will first be used on DTM machinery for the championship’s pre-season tests at Monza, held on April 7-8, before the season kicks off at the Italian venue on June 18.
