Sebastian Vettel has put up for sale eight cars from his private collection, including five Ferraris collected during his time with the Italian Formula 1 team.

It’s not clear why exactly the German, who no longer races for Ferrari, has chosen to sell the cars, but Aston Martin confirmed it had nothing to do with him joining the team for the 2021 season.

Vettel, who lives a relatively private life, is a keen car collector and has an impressive collection which includes an Ayrton Senna McLaren and Nigel Mansell’s world championship winning Williams FW14 from the 1992 season.

The cars have been listed via dealer Tom Hartley Jr, who posted details of the sale on his website. Two cars have so far been sold.

He’s probably making room for a pale yellow Opel Kadett.
