Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has taken a tour of Renault’s facilities in both Viry-Chatillon and Enstone as he begins preparations to rejoin the team ahead of the 2021 season.
The Spaniard will be returning to the French marque for the third time after a two-year hiatus away from F1 in which he competed in other events such as the Dakar Rally, Indy 500, and sportscar racing which yielded more success including the 2018-2019 World Endurance Championship with Toyota.
After spending time with the staff at the factory, Alonso is planning to attend some races going forward as he continues his preparations.
