Formula 1 pre-season testing kicks off today with the first of six days of testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, split across two weeks running February 19-21 and February 26-28.

All ten teams and 20 drivers will be in action as well as Robert Kubica, who will get the honour of testing the Alfa Romeo first before handing over to Giovinazzi.

With each of the two tests lasting three days, all teams have split running on at least one day to ensure each driver gets equal time behind the wheel, with only Mercedes yet to confirm its schedule for the full three days.

Mercedes confirmed it will decide who will be in the car on Thursday and Friday the evening prior to running.
