Formula E has confirmed it will continue to hold pre-season testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, for its sixth season of competition.
The all-electric series will hold a three-day test at the Spanish venue between October 15-18, leaving a month between the final test day and the opening round of the 2019/20 season, which takes place in Saudi Arabia on November 22.
Although run over four days, only three will involve on-track action, with Thursday 17 reserved as a rest day, with some media duties permitted.
The series confirmed it will use the same layout as previous seasons and action will be split across two sessions per day, running from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm – allowing for a two-hour lunch break between sessions.
All 12 teams and 24 cars will be in action, which is unlike Formula 1 testing which only permits one car per team.
It will be the first time newcomers Porsche and Mercedes have tested alongside their rivals.
Testing will not be open to the general public.
