With the clock gradually ticking down towards Formula E's first race of Season Five, it has been confirmed that pre-season testing for the series' next generation of racing will take place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain.
Testing for the 2018/19 season will consist of three days, commencing from October 16 before coming to an end on October 19, being broken up by one rest day on October 18.
Each day of pre-season testing will be broken up into two sessions, with cars running in the morning from 9-12 and in the afternoon between 2-5, with sessions giving teams the chance to make any necessary final tweaks ahead of the start of the season on December 15.
For Season Five, Formula E will receive an all-new look, with the series' Spark SRT 01E generation one car being replaced by the all-new Gen2 machine while pitstops will be removed in addition to the introduction of a new race format, with races lasting for 45 minutes as opposed to running at a set distance.
On the grid, Formula E will also see a number of changes, with former independent squad Techeetah partnering with DS Automobiles, Nissan replacing Renault as a partner to e.dams and the arrival of HWA AG which will expand the field to 22 drivers.
Formula E's first E-Prix of the 13 race Season Five calendar is set to take place on December 15 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
