The all-electric Formula E series has unveiled a revised track layout at Tempelhof Airport for this year’s Berlin ePrix.
The disused airport was host to the maiden Berlin Formula E race in 2015, before the race moved to streets of Karl-Marx-Allee in the city centre.
But after a veto from local government, the race has returned to the Tempelhof Airport location for season three.
Following the cancellation of the Brussels ePrix, the Berlin race has become a double-header round this year.
The 10-turn, 2.25km layout on the apron of the former airport retains the anti-clockwise direction but has been completely reprofiled.
This year’s Formula E double-header round in Berlin will take place from the 10-11 June.
