The supersoft tyres has emerged as the favourite for the inaugural European Grand Prix at Baku, Azerbaijan.
The majority of teams have converged on the same strategy, with no driver opting for more than two sets of the medium compound, to instead stock up on the soft and supersoft, with the latter by far the most popular option.
Of the championship contenders, Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have opted for slightly different sets, with the former selecting two of the medium and three of the soft, whilst Hamilton has chosen just one of the medium and four of the soft. Both will have eight sets of the supersoft available to them.
Red Bull have mirrored Lewis Hamilton's selection, whilst Ferrari will have one less of the supersoft available to both its drivers.
Although drivers have scrimped on the medium, it is a mandatory compound which must be used at some point during the race.
