Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc spent the third and final day of Ferrari’s annual “wake-up” test behind the wheel of the SF21.
Leclerc completed 123 laps at the team’s test facility in Fiorano in the 2021 challenger, which saw him take two pole positions and a podium finish.
After two days of running that were affected by the cold and wet weather, track conditions improved and the Monegasque was able to complete his entire run on slick tyres.
Team-mate Carlos Sainz and team principal Frederic Vasseur were present for the test, as was Leclerc’s brother and Ferrari Driver Academy student Arthur Leclerc, who observed the test from the pit garage.
2023 will be Leclerc’s sixth season in Formula 1, with the Ferrari driver finishing last season in a career-best second place in the World Championship.
Ferrari is set to unveil its 2023 challenger on 14 February, with official pre-season testing to commence from 23-25 February in Bahrain.
The team has retained Antonio Giovinazzi and Robert Shwartzman as its reserve drivers for the 2023 campaign.
